DRY TYPE TRANSFORMER SIZING CALCULATION,

Hey anyone help me in sizing calculation of 11KV/415 V dry type transformer. What is limit of overloading? is IS 6600 is applicable in dry type transformer. if anyone have reference calculation , specification. kindly share .

Asif Eqbal • Please refer IEEE Std C57.96-1999 for for Loading Dry-Type Distribution and Power Transformers. IS 6600 (for oil type) and IS 11171 for dry type transformer as well as IEC 60726 for dry type clearly states that over loading is not covered and existing standard will be either amended or a separate standard will be prepared in future.So IEEE C57.96 is only reference. But if you are sizing dry type transformer and verifying the overload capacity as per IEEE than do not forget to take manufacturers concurrence on same.
